The judge in Trump's Jan 6 case is going to hold hearings and arguments in mid-September during the heart of the campaign season, that could very well turn some voters off of Trump as well. Biden's age and debate performance are certainly issues, but this is a big messy election and we should be careful about trying to simplify it down too much based on one detail. Register to vote if you haven't already!
So Trump only won in 2016 due to the Electoral College; he lost the popular vote to Clinton and Did Not Vote. He lost handily in 2020 by several million votes and is yet to lead Biden by 5% or more in the polls. He certainly has a chance to win, but it will be due to low turnout, not a landslide in his favor. To mention one other turnout, remember the saying "a week is a lifetime in politics". We Don't know how public reaction to Project 2025 will affect the election, to say nothing of 1/-
