This is at Missouri University of Science and Technology, this isn't the weirdest thing we've done....
At DefCon there was a talk about hacking industrial control systems. Someone got in the demo and imploded the barrel w/ the vacuum pump.
Or you could just spoof a MAC address, if your network card supports it. Also works on the airlines when they give you 20 minutes free.
