It's because when Courtney was pregnant, before they knew the gender, they called her Bean. Started calling her that after the first ultrasound because that's what she looked like if I remember correctly.

It’s not redundant when telling a story and say you met someone, then a month later you’re planning a 5th date. It would only be redundant if you explain that you met them AFTER saying you’ve been on dates.
