At the point a dedicated traffic controller becomes easier, traffic is usually directed elsewhere. Might even be a temp. road on the side.
someone from the construction crew, that is. Not just any bystander.
if there's a mishap or moving machinery that needs additional traffic control, someone will step in to do it, overruling the temp. lights.
My dad used to do this. Then my online friends asked me if I'd like to work with/for them. Now I have a well-paying job I like to do.
