Great pictures thanks for sharing
karlsbrother11
My pup and I would be keen for a winter adventure in Banff if you’d like? XC ski only for starters though
AirAngel
The best of doggos! Onward to adventures!
discopantsandhaircuts
That is one handsome dog.
Athelric
You should post this to /r/OneBag, they'd love it.
thisisshittertwitterright
I see you shopped for area rugs at Home Depot.
klaur
Costco!

This is the dream. This is literally the dream.

Do you know about our fabulous Pongo fund? https://www.thepongofund.org/ That's a name to be proud of! What a great dog :)
PACwalker
I have the exact same pair of track shoes! Best footwear purchase ever. much comfy. so walk. wow

It looks like your tent has no floor... Is that right? How does that work in Michigan. I'd expect either bugs or weather to be an issue.
klaur
It has a floor. I like a fully enclosed tent. The tent I have is a Tarptent Rainbow as well as a Stratospire 2.
niceguyted
I am literally wearing those *exact same* Altra Lone Peaks RIGHT THIS SECOND.
oyvindlw
Great album! Thanks!
pfsar
Does he bring enough food for everyone or just himself?
GoddammitMrNoodle
Yeah, there's some Great Dane in there. Beautiful doggo.
Nlchacon
This is a life well lived.
RandywithanI
I hear that dog does all his own shots. He has to climb a hill twice, once to set up the camera and again to get the shot...
RandywithanI
I especially like the photo where he helps the random hiker over that log bridge. So brave.
lifeisgu
I have your pack!!!
klaur
HMG is good stuff. It’s my favorite piece of gear.
GimmeDaSlink
I miss the mitten *sigh*
Pattosaurus20xx
I like that he's part of the gear pile
wiillii
Tactical doggo
AirshipEngineer
He reminds me uncannily of my dog who was a Black Lab/Shepard. Either way a heckin good dog through and through 11/10.
klaur
He might be Shepard mix! We don’t know. Any pics you are willing to share?
ellisDeeee
Michigan? That must be sleeping bear. I'll see ya there.
klaur
Nordhouse Dunes, actually. Good place for some backcountry adventure. Just watch for he ticks.
tacoburglar
Where'd you get your dogs pack?
klaur
REI garage sale!
klaur
The brand is ruffwear. Model is the approach.
ssdv8r
Just curious is that a brewery vivant sticker?
klaur
Yep! Big Red Cock. It’s a good beer and my favorite brewery even though it is high brow.
ssdv8r
Thought So! Vivant is also one of my favorites, even though there is quite a lot to choose from in Grand Rapids.
PartyAtYourMomsHouse
is that a nemo hornet?
klaur
Yellow tent was The North Face. Terrible tent. I got a Tarptent Rainbow instead.
PartyAtYourMomsHouse
Im a hammock camper, but there are times when you need a tent. What do you like about the Rainbow?
PartyAtYourMomsHouse
Of course I do have a tarp to though. But in the desert you are kinda limited with that approach
klaur
I love the weight, the ease of set up, the small footprint area, space for me and my big dog, and the price.
PartyAtYourMomsHouse
Ive been thinking about getting the nemo hornet 1p but now rainbow is on my list of contenders too
klaur
biggest difference is double wall and condensation. The Rainbow is lighter but is single wall and condensation issues. Worth it for me.

Some people have all the fun.
stilltoobigg
Some doggos* have all the fun
SlanderBox
You can do this relatively easily.
FancyPalahniukQuote
Oh I️ know. I️ just haven’t the time.
Drumnslack
You can make time. It's will and commitment
Letmeregisteralready
Yeah, hiking is one of the cheapest hobbies. I mean, you can start with money you saved after you've refunded SW:BFII.
emkev
Depends on the gear, it can add up fast. But you can acquire a little bit at a time.
Letmeregisteralready
Well, you don't need that much for 3-4 days summer hikes and most expensive pieces will serve you for years if not for lifetime. 1/2
Letmeregisteralready
But you are right, my gear worth something like 200-300$ but I'm pretty sure my father hit 2000$ last year.
