Hiya Imgur! My hobby is getting tied up and tying myself up!

POSH uplines and carabiners (I do a bit of self-suspension but these are mostly for other folks to suspend me with.) I get my carabiners from REI, if they're strong enough for rock climbing they're more than strong enough for suspension bondage! Plus climbing carabiners are weight-rated which is always a plus.

More POSH and hempex (synthetic hemp substitute - I personally prefer to use 6mm hemp rope, but synthetics have their benefits - they can be washed without weakening the rope, they're waterproof, and they're load-rated.)

Hemp and a bit of silk (white), bamboo (blueish), and POSH rope! A few spreader bars in the upper right corner too. POSH (which apparently stands for Port Out, Starboard Home, I'm told it's a sailing thing) is a synthetic rope designed for use in sailing; it's obscenely strong for its weight, which makes it ideal for uplines (ropes holding you up in a suspension, an example of which is posted at the end)

Probably my favorite shot of anything I've tied on myself thusfar, it was annoying to make work but incredibly satisfying to finally pull off! Self-tied, hemp rope. Yes, that's connected to my hair.

I highly suggest seeking out your local community, as they tend to be excellent sources of information and good friends to have besides; we exist in most major cities nowadays!
