Knower of useless things, forgetter of useful things. The universe's sense of irony keeps me from my favorite things (outdoors, creating with my hands, etc), so I live vicariously through the internet and have seen and now know things I can never unsee or unknow 😁. VERY liberal and not open to arguing whether facts fit into beliefs (or whatever other bs people come up with). But very happy to discuss and listen to view points that differ from my own (again, no arguing, name-calling, putting down another's beliefs, etc). It takes a multitude of personalities, beliefs, backgrounds, experiences, and types of people to keep the world round and grounded. Not too many of any and (with the exception of extremists) not too few of any. Be good to each other, even when no one is watching. "Fake it 'til you make it" does work in many areas of life. Smile at people every day (remember to practice your smile so you don't look like you just put on your human suit!) and people will start to smile when they see you (boy, does that feel good when you're down!). Smile at yourself in the mirror or smile to yourself if you're alone. Find 5 good things every day (about yourself and the world around you). Lol, if you're gonna be a hater, people will give you reasons to do that based on their personal character; you don't need to start off hating based on clothes, color, gender, religion, sexual orientation, where they were born, etc. Believe me (I'm an ancient bog witch, I know these things), nice people and jerks are everywhere. There's no common denominator for them (I mean, hate groups are full of jerks, duh, the name gives it away). Uh, read or listen to ALL the stuff (as an aside, get multiple sources on a topic before forming an opinion - there are 50 sides to a story and then the truth), try new things a few times (it takes a bit to get the hang of it or for your senses to decide if they like it) before giving up on it (as long as it isn't hurting anyone), try to see things from another perspective (learn about what you don't understand, find out why groups act that way and imagine how you'd react in that situation, etc).... Oh, and I LOVE critters! Furry ones, scaly ones, no legs, multiple legs, wings, burrowing in the ground... just not ticks. They can crackle and pop in flames then swirl around as they drown in the toilet! And if you have weird stuff, I like weird stuff!
