too bad...

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Potentially could be a tool for the gov't to "tag" certain individuals. Easily ID'd w/ portable blacklights.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

+1 Perfect

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's so cool

Lazer tag!

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Goth clubs. Every goth club.

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

I have a blacklight laser light.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

That's creative, @OP!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

I think the first image has been photoshopped. The uv ink would not be completely invisible. It would show like white ink.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

looks like the picture was taken in the shop before any of the UV part was inked

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I'll be honest, if I saw someone with this I would assume a lot of negative things about them, such as drug use and stds

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 14

I'll be honest, if I read someone saying something like this I would assume a lot of negative things about them, such as idiocy and bigotry

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well half right. I was raised with a lot of prejudices. Not something I can just consciously fix, particularly when it's regularly confirmed

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

We all prejudge. What stops you being a bigot is being open to the fact that people may not be how you first perceive. I prejudge chest 1)

tattoos on women. Thats within my rights to. I don't however actively associate that with other issues or publicly broadcast it. 2)

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Drugs are wide ranging. Chocolate is a drug, so is caffeine. So are crack and heroin. The connection of someone having a tattoo and an 3)

Don't these offer a greater chance of skin desease?

9 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 3

UV lights?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They're as bad as mixing someone's ashes with the ink. Most tattooists just will not do this because of the dangers.

9 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 2

Sorry... Not most. *good tattooists

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 2

I thought I read somewhere that the ink holds uv light and can cause skin cancer or something.

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

Well I was going to get this INSTEAD of a tattoo with my grandmas ashes. Now I'm torn.

9 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

Wait, why is the ashes thing bad? That's one thing that seems totally cool. Sorry to hear it's not safe. :(

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

For tattooing you need a completely sterile environment. Putting ASH into an open wound is never ever a good idea.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Ash is sterile

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not to put into an open wound BUT EVEN SO the particles of ash are too big to mix with the ink effectively so it's pointless AND dangerous.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

amazing. does the UV ink fade at all after time?

9 years ago | Likes 191 Dislikes 1

You have to hold it under a lamp for a few minutes to make it glow. Totally joking btw

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

you could receive the same effect with some refined Uranium.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I have one from about 7 years ago that's still glows pretty good.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It's super not good for you

9 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 3

Depends on your ink source. Most these days is fine.

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Is that true though or just one of those warnings they have in California?

9 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

Idk if its true or not, but a lot of artists wont use this kind of ink

9 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

California. "Everything is a carcinogen!"™

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

I have a lightsaber tattoo with UV ink. It doesn't glow much under black light anymore. Got it about 14 years ago.

9 years ago | Likes 42 Dislikes 0

Need to re-paint it maybe?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Pics?? Sounds awesome haha

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

How does it look in normal light?

9 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

like a weird metal dildo

9 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 2

It is kinda faded. I need to get it touched up.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Does the UV ink look yellow?

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

turns a horrible yellow after a few years

9 years ago | Likes 177 Dislikes 3

=\

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

havent hurt that, but ive heard lots of sun exposure cause cause it to fade. maybe some UV inks discolor witg exposure?

9 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

Are you drunk?

9 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

I'd assume that the tattoo place would put new ink on it if the buyer wanted

9 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

for a price of course

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

About 5 years is the life of blacklight ink

9 years ago | Likes 62 Dislikes 0

Mines lasted over 8 with barely any fading. Just take care of it, it needs sunscreen.

9 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

But arn't you supposed to get normal tats refilled after about that time too?

9 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 3

Mm I was told I might need to get the lines retouched. That's about it. Black ink all the way!

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

BOLD WILL HOLD.

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Not really

9 years ago | Likes 24 Dislikes 1

I'd just get normal tats over top anyway, especially on such a small piece
