It's still canon. And Damien's powers were super temporary. After a fake mission from Bats & JL to test his powers, he ended up losing them.

Everything great before it was still great, and the section where it happened was disappointing, but generally ignorable in the end.
I didn't even know there was a Syndering in the WW film. That's been getting great reviews, I still wanna see it.

The narrative on what is heroic has changed. It used to just mean beating the Bad Guys and Saving the Day. Now, the concept is more nuanced.

for real though Batman V Superman is a mess film because it's a frankenstein's monster of various sources. and Snyder sucks at directing.

early comics sure but there a very few examples in modern comics (mostly b/c bad writing). Heroes don't kill, that's a big deal imo.

The narrative on what is heroic has changed. It used to just mean beating the Bad Guys and Saving the Day. Now, the concept is more nuanced.
