If everyone are poorly drawn or just stick figures, it's me..

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Botero would have been a good one to profile.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

If it has nautical nonsense and a pineapple under the sea it's Spongebob.

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

If the eyes are on point, it's Maybelline

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

#4 Ok, I get the point, but that's totally a photoshopped Putin right?

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

If every tree is happy, it's Bob Ross

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Fun fact, being described as "Cow Eyed" used to be the best compliment a women could receive, since across cultures cows were considered 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Sacred and the epitome of beauty. It's very noticeable in Ancient Greece and Ireland. 2/2

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

If it's a woman with dark hair and a unibrow, it's Frida Kahlo.

8 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

If the painting is technically impeccable but you suspect the artist might have been a closet psychopath, it's Goya.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I have no Monet to buy Degas to make the Van Gogh.

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 2

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

What's a Monet? It's like a painting, see? From far away, it's OK, but up close, it's a big old mess.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Clueless FTW

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

If the paining has lots of little people but no crazy bullshit, it's a Breughel

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

#10

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

If it looks like a Frida Kahlo painting but Frida Kahlo isn't in it, it's probably Diego Rivera.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

For Degas: ballerinas OR prostitutes

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Also, just a side note, the ballerina in that painting has arms like a fucking lemur.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

often one and the same.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Well then it could be Toulouse

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

As someone with an art history degree, this is 100% accurate.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Except Caravaggio's first name but ya

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He seems to have a couple variations on his first name

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If everything looks like a vagina or penis, it's Giger.

8 years ago | Likes 21 Dislikes 0

Have you been looking at my drawings? Also, my name isn't Giger.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You misspelled O'Keefe

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

... that Picasso has exactly two eyes and one nose

8 years ago | Likes 57 Dislikes 0

yeah, w/ picasso all the pieces are there and in the right quantity; his blue period work includes fairly normal looking portraits

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I enjoy his blue period work.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

In my uneducated and uncultured opinion, The Old Guitarist is his masterpiece.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah there's usually not more than what's there. He just paints in a different perspective.

8 years ago | Likes 39 Dislikes 0

Came here to make that comment.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He just paints in several different perspectives at once*

8 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

Wheres that REPOSTSTASTIC GUY AT?

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 1

i beg to differ, every single image in this dump is fresh OC created recently by OP himself

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I saw this compilation a few months ago.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah, that was me

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Bosch is one hell of a detective.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I got that reference!

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

"Got a feeling that I can't let go!"

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah, his paintings are a bit weird, tho (I love it!!)

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

WHERE THE HELL WERE YOU THIS PAST SEMESTER WHEN I NEEDED THIS

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

If it's a painting of water lilies, it's Monet.

8 years ago | Likes 336 Dislikes 0

Apples, Cezanne

6 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

If its focal point is a haystack, it's also Monet.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

If its melting its either Dali or your acid kicking in

8 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 0

If it's a painting of bits of paper with famous dead people on it for use as currency, that's Monet.

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 0

show me the monet!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If it mostly resembles a vagina, it's O'Keefe.

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Haystacks, oh Lord the zillions of haystacks, too. Monet.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If it's got sun in your eyes, like a big pizza pie, that's a Monet.

8 years ago | Likes 119 Dislikes 2

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Laughed out loud. +1

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

if everyone is overly cute and chubby, it's Botero

8 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

"chubby" is an understatement.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

"chubby" is an utter understatement.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

If it's not delivery, it's DiGornio

8 years ago | Likes 192 Dislikes 2

hey I just saw that on the clickhole adventure "you lied your way into a job as a surgeon don't kill anyone long enough to get a check" ;p

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

What if it's picked up?

So Michelangelo's style is basically that of Jojo's Bizarre Adventure?

8 years ago | Likes 43 Dislikes 2

Michelangelo's style was anime before anime was cool

8 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 0

Supposedly he used only male models- ladies' breasts look glued on.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

this is true of both his paintings and sculptures.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Everyone is buff and manly as fuck, even the women... seems about right

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

It's because male models were easier to get for nude studies. So the women are literally just dudes they slapped titties on.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Da Vinci did the same trick and it's a main reason so many people are clothed in dark age art and out of proportion. 0 live models.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Bosch has always been one of my favorite artists for exactly this reason.

8 years ago | Likes 797 Dislikes 1

I'm from his town. They turned his house into a souvenir shop.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They suspect that Bosch experienced LSD-like effects from Claviceps purpurea which was back in the days found commonly in grain and bread.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Is that different than ergot?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think it depends on the state of the fungus and also the processing. From what I know, Ergot leads to physical deformation.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

"FUCK YOU, MOM, IT'S NOT A PHASE THIS IS WHO I AM

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

In the lower third quadrant, is that someone getting head?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If you like Bosch, then check out Pieter Bruegel the Elder. He would also fit the "tiny people/crazy bullshit" description.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Still trying to find Waldo.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Bosch: The hell of drugs ... created by his own brain!

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I just really wanna know what the heck was going on in his head when he painted this part: http://imgur.com/p6dwDl8

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

We have that painting of his at our head office. It's pretty hilarious to mull over whilst you're in a meeting.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Love how someone figured out 500 years later that there was music on one of the tormented asses https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OnrICy3Bc2U

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think of it as a Renaissance Era "Where's Waldo?".

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Bosch sounds like a motherfucker who knows how to party.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

TIL Bosch is classics meets Dr Seuss meets where's waldo

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Bosch...Hipster Where's Waldo.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You will probably learn something interesting from this interactive Bosch. https://tuinderlusten-jheronimusbosch.ntr.nl/en

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I've seen that painting on Imgur before in relation to someone shoving flowers up someone else's ass.

8 years ago | Likes 30 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

well.. okay

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

He's right though, Bosch drew some crazy doodles

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

You're into little people then? Got it.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Bosch has always been one of my favorite tv shows. (The artist and character share the same name and the artist is mentioned in theshow10/10

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Have you read the book series that the TV show is based upon? Pretty great series for the most part.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My humanities professor actually said "Usually best viewed while on Mushrooms." casually during her slide presentation.

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 1

I went to the Rijksmuseum on mushrooms. It was kinda awesome.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I am going to Amsterdam in November. Cant wait.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You'll love it. I recommend renting a bicycle and just riding around the city. Great way to take a "tour".

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Actually, of you stare at it long enough and get really absorbed into all the details, you won't even need the mushrooms.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I recently saw the garden of earthly delights painting and it was magnificent!

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

And the colors are so unusually bright, too.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

DiCaprios' documentary 'Before the flood' starts with it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZFmVRsQho4Y

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So jealous! It's one of the ones I have to see before I die

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Theres this fucking amazing online tour version of it. I'll see if i can find a link for you.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Have you tried googling it? Might not be as hard as you think to see it, I'ma give it a try anyways. :)

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Agreed one of the most amazing and timeless prices of art I've ever seen

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Like where's Wally for at historians

8 years ago | Likes 140 Dislikes 0

Now go hunt for the image of the guy with flowers in his ass.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Found him

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Waldo*?

8 years ago | Likes 44 Dislikes 8

Publishers used a different name depending on the country. e.g. Waldo in North America, Wally in Aus & NZ.

8 years ago | Likes 51 Dislikes 0

In Denmark, he's called Holger

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I can imagine a more fitting name for the Denmark version. Holger. HHhhooollllgggerrrr. Definitely Scandinavian.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Wally in the UK as well

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

In Germany his name is Walter

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Weird, do you know why that is? Genuinely curious

8 years ago | Likes 28 Dislikes 1

In Australia, "Waldo" is slang for "penis." So the publishers changed it because not really I just made that up.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I don't know, but I assume it is to make the book more locally relevant, and thus sell better. I found one google hit, but that's all.

8 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 1

You see the same thing with movies too: "Four Holidays" vs "Four Christmases", and "Airplane" vs "Flying High".

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Asked the same thing when I found out Burger King in Australia is Hungry Jack's

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Putting that art major to work huh?

8 years ago | Likes 1072 Dislikes 13

Now finish making my coffee

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Well, considering this is a repost: I don't think so. This is putting Karma-whoring to work, not an arts major.

8 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 0

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0
