2023 is on track to be the hottest year on record, but we still have Republicans claiming the climate crisis is a "hoax." What planet are they living on?

They actually put the word "Democracy" behind the people that want to get rid of it.

Guys. Not delusional, not in denial. It's disinformative. They knowingly lie.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

What a joke he has no chance of winning.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

It’s so cute seeing the GOP pretend that they’re are even considering anyone but trump.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Voting for republicans is voting for death and destruction at a mass scale. They are slimy, greedy opportunists and their voters are delusional fools.

These people are standing in a closed garage with the car running, and claiming the beeping from carbon monoxide alarm is giving them a headache.

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

The candidates aren't stupid, they're amoral grifters. Vivek graduated summa cum laude from Harvard with a Biology degree for chrissakes. You honestly think he doesn't recognize the mountains of evidence? No, he's simply lying. He's selling a line of shit to the GOP voters. It's the conservative base that's filled with delusional deniers, not the leaders. But what makes these candidates truly evil is that when they're in power and the stakes actually matter, they will NOT do the right thing.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Reminder; This guy said he wants to run the country the same way Musk is running Twitter/X. That's what we can expect if these loonies get in charge again.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

I'm just going to say this once for all the debate posts: if any of these people weren't already disqualified in your mind before this debate there is literally nothing more they could do or say that will disqualify them. Republican equals disqualified.

They're booing him because of his mouth dumbness.

Does he really think that MAGA cultists, who believe in ”The Great Replacement Theory”, will vote for him?

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Trying the Trump strategy, can't blame him. He saw how well it worked for Trump in 2016 so at least one of these guys is going to try this strategy from now on.

"Why is the Sahara getting larger?" Why is everything so dry and flammable that massive wildfires spring up all over the world? Why are there big clouds of neurotoxin producing algae floating around coastal beaches? Why are so many places always either in a drought or a flood? Why was there a hurricane in California? Why are so many places setting heat records?" "I dunno, but it can't be Climate Change. That's a hoax."

2 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 2

There are no new heat records. And if there is, it's not that bad. And if it is, it's just corrupt librul elite democrat scientists making it sound worse than it really is. And if it is really quite bad, it's just a natural cycle the planet goes through. And if it's not, it's sun spots causing the sun to be hotter than normal. And if it's not the sun, I don't know what it is. But whatever it is it's definitely not man-made climate change because God gave us oil and I ain't no queer.

Obviously God's punishing humanity because of drag queens, or some shit like that.

They will say that was a conspiracy too

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They already are, yeah. "X persons house (on a completely dfifferent island) was untouched! How come the fire didn't engulf that!". They forget that Hawai'i is a GROUP of islands. Fucking idiots.

All republicans are bad people. Yes. All of them.

They may not all be racist, they may not all be sexist, they may not all be pedofiles, but they sure are fine wearing the badge of the club where those people hang out.

That's actually the most perfect way to put it, thank you.

I loved that Trump was referred to as “the elephant not in the room” during this debate

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

fat orange man was a little too on the nose

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

So because of Trump, we have to endure the next 30 years of R candidates all doing the same stupid fucking hand motions and vocal cadence huh?

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Yes. Haven't you seen his son, Jr? If you see early vids of him from when trump first started, he talks one way, but now, most times, he talks in almost a caricature of his father, because all those grifters want to try and be like the top grifter, and imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not if we can go a couple election cycles with people doing that losing soundly.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Doesn’t he know he’s only there to “prove” the GOP isn’t racist?

2 years ago | Likes 416 Dislikes 5

He's polling third, which is wild to me. He was obnoxious during the debate, but I think there's a non-zero chance he becomes the GOP nominee.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You might be able to make that case with Tim Scott, but Vivek surged a lot with his debate performance.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I feel like this statement is pretty racist.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Yes, why else do you think they allowed him on the stage?

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

To get there the Tolkien has to go very far into the cult talking points.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The Boondocks was on Simpsons level prediction shit with the Ruckus political campaign

2 years ago | Likes 44 Dislikes 0

A lot of successful second generation Indians/Asians/Cubans believe they are "white" and start spewing a lot of the same racist Uncle Ruckus garbage. Kind of like rich black celebrities (Ice Cube). They forget their parents busted their ass to get them the opportunity and that's different from people with generational trauma and disadvantages. It's only when their "obedience" is tested/questioned they are astonished the leopards will eat their face as well.

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

And those loyalty tests only come when your teams up for pruning. Fascism doesn't discriminate on who it hates.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I mean it’s racist to think that white equals greed and power and not simply money.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Climate change is not a hoax, but he is right in many more people die from pollution. Heck, just living next to railroad tracks lowers your iq due to lead emissions.

2 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

Seeing as pollution is a major source of climate change, I'm not sure the distinction really matters.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

aw fuck, I used to live right next to train tracks. only for 2 years. so I'm probly good, huh? my brain thoughts are still making happen, uh, ideas and stuff... shit, I've gone dumb

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Lead really only affects you if you're a kid. The way our bodies work, kids absorb like 90% of lead they're exposed to, adults only 10%

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

phew. thanks

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He said "I'm the only one on stage that isn't bought and paid for" and the fact that he's a Republican means that statement is false. He was bought and paid for for the GOP to look diverse.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Wait, are these all of the Republican presidential candidates? There's a noticeable lack of orange...

2 years ago | Likes 127 Dislikes 2

They're all candidates to be Presidential candidates.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

These are all the people running for Vice President.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Trump has basically said he doesn't need to participate in primary debates because he's already won the nomination. The real reason is he probably doesn't want to face any tough questions. Polls show he's not wrong, he's leading primary polls, but his counter-programming interview with Tucker shows a certain level of fear that he needs to distract potential primary voters, suggesting he doesn't have it as "in the bag" as he would like it.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

He didn't bother to show up. And ran a prerecorded interview with Cuck Tarlson instead.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

He wimped out to go cry the Tuck the Cuck.

2 years ago | Likes 88 Dislikes 0

He has a big appointment in Georgia today.

2 years ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 0

The biggest. Very bigly. Huge even.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Probably the only smart thing he has done - following his attorney advise because he couldn't keep his mouth shut on the indictments. Whole thing was pre-recorded and edited.

2 years ago | Likes 27 Dislikes 0

Right. At this point, opening his mouth is legit only ever going to get him into trouble. That's all he can gain from it. He has his supporters and nothing he said will sway them, and he would have to actually start being coherent to even have a single iota of a chance of swaying anyone new, and that's definitely not going to happen. His best option right now is to just sit back and shut up. We'll see if he's even capable of that (he's not)

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Not to nitpick, but you mean advice. Advice is the noun, advise is the verb

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

You are correct. Please forgive me. I am a product of the Texas education system.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Haha, I lived there for 4yrs so I get what you mean, though that can happen anywhere. I miss TexMex food and HEB...

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Agree on the Mexican. I'm not a fan of Baja mix with their black beans.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He didn't have to show up and it was still all about him. These are just performances because it's already decided who will be the nominee.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

He was somewhere with Tucker Carlson. A podcast? Something like that.

2 years ago | Likes 41 Dislikes 0

Close enough. A "Twitter streaming exclusive" kinda deal thing, IIRC.

2 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

Wow! Just wow!

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

Ah, two of the biggest Republican men streaming a very special collaboration exclusively on X-videos.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Prerecorded. Wouldn't want to violate his terms of release by accident

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Prerecorded, because they knew else the terms of his release would be before it even happened...

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Which he did anyway, because he just cannot help himself.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Shit nug said it will not be doing any debates.

2 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Last debate he was in, didn't he get told to shut up by the guy who took his job, house, and twitter account?

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

He says it's because he's so far ahead that he doesn't need to. I think he's afraid of Chris Christie. I'm fairly sure Christie's running for no other reason than to fuck up Trump's day. Though I'm sure he wouldn't say no to the nomination if he manages to win it.

2 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Trump is right that strategically speaking he has no reason to do the debates. It's supposed to be customary, but he famously does not give a shit about norms.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Oh Christies probably the closest slug in human form we have to Trump thats not Trump, hes just upset it got to be the New York loud mouth that got to be the big racist piss baby of the GOP and not him. None of these people realize the reason they arent even going to have a chance against trump is because (i hate to admit it) Trump has a ton of charisma, and these people combined have less than hillary clinton.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I think the real reason must be his lawyers finally starting to get through to him that opening his mouth may lead to jail time. I think he's honestly too stupid and conceited to be afraid of a political opponent. He puts himself on a pedestal with other dictators, as a friend in some cases, and I doubt his ego will let him see himself as less able than any other republican candidate. If there's any fear in him, I'd bet it's facing real prison time.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

While it is true that while he's under the gun for almost 100 different felony charges, his decision not to do debates is actually sound political strategy. He *is* really far ahead in the polls and does not need to risk losing favorability from gaffes (not that those have ever hurt him). Bottom line is it's work that he doesn't want to do and there really is a negligible upside to him doing them in the primaries at least.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I think he's more afraid of a blow to his ego, which can happen in a debahe, than the idea of facing real consequences for his actions. Until now, he's been shielded from any consequences, and I'm not sure if he's capable of considering that his privilege might, finally, not protect him.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It's hilarious that he thinks he has a chance. Republicans want to kill people that look like him.

2 years ago | Likes 1019 Dislikes 6

He’s the smartest one up there and the crowd literally yelled at him while he tried to speak, just racist garbage. He’s is the party’s best hope and they will destroy him

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 5

He knows he won’t win, it’s about getting a book deal and becoming a contributor on Fox News all while getting his handful of the MAGA money form the apparently endlessly stupid Trump base. It’s just the same old grift.

2 years ago | Likes 98 Dislikes 0

And it's not even like he's old enough for climate change to not affect him. Damn it must be nice to be that oblivious

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

They'd pick him, as long as his running mate was an obviously corrupt white dude that would be 'really' in charge to their fucked up brains. I mean, they'll support women in office as long as they think said women will do whatever a big strong white male tells her to do.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yes, but they LOVE the minorities that support the same ideology. Look at how they brag about any black person supporting trump. I remember the 2016 good convention. Camera panned the crowds, zooming in on the same black dude like 5 times, as if he was 5 different people. Then it became clear the guy just worked there....

2 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

the UK has one and the GQP aren't above puppets to pretend actual problems are solved. But, yeah.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

He's running for VP. He's probably not the real concern; that's all the young neo-christo-fascist Republicans who've been raised on Charlie Kirk, Ben Shapiro, Nick Fuentes, and Stephen Crowder seeing him and taking notes on his tactics. We're gonna see a lot more of those in congressional and state legislature races in the coming elections.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

but he is special

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

They don't even believe people with his kind of name are natural born citizens!

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Christie should have given him the bear hug when requested .. maybe he would have stopped denying climate change.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I feel like he’s a plant to see how far right the GOP needs to lean. If he doesn’t make it past the primaries they know extremism doesn’t have much of a chance.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

That's why he has a chance. He's the token. He won't, because trump is so far into the lead that none of the people on stage stand a chance* (*except desantis)

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

The leopards won’t eat my face. *Morgan freeman’s voice* But the leopards did eat his face, once they were done using his different face for their own purposes.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Race traitors aren't the smartest ones...

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Was the crowd cheering or booing? It seems like they're actually booing him so that's at least promising.... unless they're booing in support of the hoax.

2 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I’m assuming that crowd was heavily vetted to be filled with “loyal” Republicans. Therefore, I’m assuming they deny that there is a climate crisis.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Sadly, in the 2A Facebook group I'm in, they kind of liked him. It's definitely a Trump mentality. The other candidates dogged on him for his crazy talk and people love that.

2 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

He knows he won't win. He's just up there campaigning to be Trump's VP at this point.

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Looking in from the outside at the American People who gave enough votes to a fascist rapist to elect him in 2016 and almost re-elect him in 2020, I wouldn't be shocked if enough Americans thought other fascist science-denying shitstains are also "Leadership material". What a shameful era USA has entered into.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

If trump is anything to go off, the MAGA group likes people that are attacked for spewing incorrect statements as facts. I'd guess this guy is going to push up in the polls. We are not ok over here.

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

He's just there to siphon votes from Desantis to ensure Trump stays ahead. He's a puppet.

2 years ago | Likes 17 Dislikes 0

More power to him. The only vote Desantis should win is “Most likely to build death camps”

2 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

For real. I despise all of them but DeSantis is the only one I think I hate more than Trump.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I can't understand how anyone who isn't white, cis, straight, Christian, and male (bonus points for being rich) can support Republicans

2 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I can. It has a little bit to do with spinning lies to make them seem like facts, and appealing to the minorities by making promises they have no intention of keeping (eg: "equality") Awful stuff. Manipulation at its finest.

Looks at current roster of GOP elected officials, Gaetz, MTG, Mitch, Gym Jordan, Boebert, Santos, Cruz, Desantes, the Y’All Qaeda, The Insurrectionists, The Traitor Tots, Karen and the Gang, The Deplorables...yep, that checks out for worst people.

2 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Chris Christie also commented that his name reminded him of Barack Obama's, which felt like such an obvious racist dog whistle

2 years ago | Likes 194 Dislikes 7

That is not true.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No one on that stage was a good person. Just garbage from one end to the next.

2 years ago | Likes 86 Dislikes 0

He plagiarized “skinny guy with a funny name” from a 2004 Obama speech which Christie called out

2 years ago | Likes 16 Dislikes 0

It's yet another reason why no matter what Christie says that's anti Trump, I still say he can go fuck himself.

2 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

No. He said that because vivek said the same things Obama said in his speech. I was surprised Christie remembered obama’s speech

2 years ago | Likes 31 Dislikes 1

Yeah, "skinny guy with a funny name" was such a standout policy position for Obama...

2 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 19

Christie literally said that Obama said the same thing. He even got the quote more or less correct.

2 years ago | Likes 20 Dislikes 1
