Just got a Xbox 1x and damn it, I need this game. Not only the best Elder Scrolls game to ever exist, it's one of the greatest games to ever exist (maybe not the greatest but atleast in top 5). I don't need remastering or anything fancy. Just make available.

I tell my wife of the wondrous place called Vvardenfell and she will never truly understand until she roams it's lands as I once did. As always banished to UserSub, but please, please, help me bring this wondrous title back to where it belongs, into our homes and hearts once again!!!

port for switch!!!!!!

Great game, azura gives terrible directions

In my top 5 games overall. Amazing environment and music and incredibly immersive. I lost myself in this world and loved every second of it.

I would love to play this game again.

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

I would love to go back to playing this game the first time. Walking into Balorma just as the sun rises out of the fog, with the theme?

You N'wah!

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

They need to quit remarking Skyrim and remake Morrowind or Oblivion, but with some of the added elements from skyrim that were great.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

Get ready for elder scrolls III: morrowind (set in skyrim with skyrim graphics fuck you it's skyrim AGAIN)

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I really wouldn't mind a modern remake, though. Better graphics, refined but faithful remake of mechanics... a cliff racer spawn slider...

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

No enemy level scaling - if you knew what you were doing you could get great loot at <5 level. If you didn't know, you died quickly. :D

8 years ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 0

Leaving seyda neen on a new account, level 1 with enchanted sword, 1k+ gold, endgame ring from the tomb

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

actualy it had level scaling - for example, you couldnt find golden saint until lvl 10. but it was very subtle+only scaled "random" monsters

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You're right. I was thinking about the "every creature gets more powerful as you level up" kind of scaling.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Back when being a magician felt like being a magician:flying to reach inaccessible places, summoned armies tearing your enemies to shreds...

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

It's like $4 on PC. You can remaster it yourself with mods.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Elder scrolls SIIIIIIIIX. SIIIIIX. 6! I like morrowind as much as one person can! But Valenwood!!!

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

Nah man. Summerset Isles or bust!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Use to play this game with my buddy. Damn I miss you Mat. Wish we could drink and listen to Manowar together again.

8 years ago | Likes 10 Dislikes 0

Upvote for Manowar! HAIL! HAIL!

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

ESO just realized a Vvardenfell expac recently. It's pretty fun.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Vvanderful!

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I just got oblivion and started playing it yesterday. SUCH MEMORIES

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Doubtful they just did the expansion of Morrowind in eso. To be fair the 1 st part of it is on point and enjoyable.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

By far my favorite game. Back when "sense of accomplishment" wasn't just a marketing term.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 1

God Morrowind was good, it showed me what a fantasy rpg could really be

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

v

8 years ago | Likes 283 Dislikes 0

Yeah, that's about right.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Lot less cliff racers than I remember.

8 years ago | Likes 29 Dislikes 0

I remember taking screenshots of Morrowind scenery and using it as desktop backgrounds. Back then those were the best backgrounds ever.

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

When you drink 200 skooma...

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Jiub needs to get off the boat and get the hell to work

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

Needs more skooma

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

This is why we need to remember Saint Jiub and everything he did for us.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Just needs the boots off blinding speed

8 years ago | Likes 43 Dislikes 0

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FYG0YWdkSKI Don't forget the song to go along with it!

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

As someone who came into gaming in TES4, explain.

8 years ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 0

You've got accuracy so low to start you can fight ages & miss all the while it squawks & flaps at you. Move on & theres another. Magic ftw

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Cliff racer. You are minding your business on Red Mountain, suddenly you hear a SQWAAAK. Then they descend from the sky like the end of days

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

There is always one more. No matter what you do. One more always chasing. One more gliding down to tax that ass.

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 0

They're the single most annoying enemy. They hide behind every rock in the mountains, and swarm you like flies, then stab you to death.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 0

Worm things were worse

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Always loved how Caius would literally tell you to level up a bit before main questing certain times. Made you take your time in the world

8 years ago | Likes 15 Dislikes 0

When it 1st came out there was a video series of a guy who beat the game at lvl 6 using just the illusion skill so they tweaked casius

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It was great. Instead of this forced urgency that Skyrim and Oblivion came with. "HURRY BEFORE X HAPPENS" but it won't happen until YOU get>

8 years ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

> there because you're literally the reason for it happening because you're the Dragonborn.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

This has been so rare in RPG games - an opportunity to explore the open world without guilt or crisis.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

You don't need a fancy computer to run Morrowind. And you get to try some amazing mods that are finished.

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I'm on a Lenovo ideapad 100s. It runs Morrowind just fine

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

There’s even a mod that increases movement speed to something tolerable

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Put 600+hours (my unbeaten record) into this during my final college year.my results suffered but I look back at all those hours fondly.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Not like Skyrim, where your character knows everything from start. A farmer that can use crossbows, short sword, long sword, knife, magic..

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

In Morrowind you must learn ! This is a thing that I loved, you really feel your character is learning by practice. I miss this.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Instead of remastering Skyrim every month, Bethesda should focus on a remaster or this.

8 years ago | Likes 12 Dislikes 2

I'd take a fixed up, graphically enhanced, easier to control Daggerfall myself. Still sprites, better resolution, easier mouse/look, etc.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

They've only remastered it once.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Twice now with the VR Edition.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

The fans are on it. Morroblivion is out - it's a total conversion mod for Oblivion that makes it Morrowind instead.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

Just get Morrowind with the overhaul. It's so pretty compared to the original.

I tried it on PS4 and... meh. The visual downgrade is severe, and by the end of the tutorial I had to stop because I was feeling sick.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I suggest the version for Nintendo Switch, if you don't want your life back...please help me...I can take it anywhere now...

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I'm partial to Oblivion.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Remember whodunit quest?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Loved that quest. Every time I would find new ways to do it.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I have a specific file for that quest

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I did everything in this game but the main story took tons of hours would love remake

8 years ago | Likes 158 Dislikes 1

What systems was it for? Just pc or Xbox?

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I did the same thing except I went to go do the main quest and part way through realized I had looted and sold a few main quest items... RIP

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I doesn't have to. Just go kill Vivec, take Warithguard and Keening and Sunder, and suprise the shit out of Dagoth Ur.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You don't even need Wraithguard. If you move circle through your weapons fast enough, you can avoid the damage. WR is 3 minutes, 7 seconds.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

To this day I still remember the high value shit you can get right off the start.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Go to Caldera, steal a mortar and do nothing but make poison potions to sell to Creeper was my preferred powergaming method. 1-25 in 30 mins

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Do you mean robbing the vaults in vivec?! Loved doing that shit lol

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 0

I mean like right off the boat. Clearing the entire census office of everything, grabbing the Mentor's Ring, etc.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oh oh I gotcha, all the utensils and random shit lol

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Craft levitation spell. Fly everywhere. Break game. Good times.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Find 2000 damage arrow behind Thirsk hall in Solstheim. 1 shot Dagoth Ur. Good times.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

First time I got Bloodmoon, I didn't know about the ship that takes you to Solstheim, I swam/levitated over to it, and actually reached it.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Dude you can beat Morrowind in like, 4 minutes. So breakable

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Im gonna get a lot of hate for this but i think oblivion is just above marrowind.

8 years ago | Likes 51 Dislikes 18

Potato faces and bland empty terrain is better than haunting atmosphere and a sense of being isolated in an alien land?

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 7

You can't even spell the name of the game and you wanna comment on its merits. Come again.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 4

Oblivion started the dumbing down trend in TES games. Really, Axes in "blunt weapons" ..?

8 years ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 5

Ya cause that actually effects gameplay

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Yes, because weapon's type defines the skill you need to use it.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 3

oblivion pretty much killed the thing i loved most of all in morrowind - exploring the world to find cool places and cool items 1/2

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

in oblivion there were ayleid ruins and 2 types of caves (dark with animals and lit with bandits) at the end you got lockpicks and some gold

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Have you even played oblivion? This statement has no merit at all. Especially when you take into account the shivering isles.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Shivering Isles makes the whole package worth it.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Ya that was a sick expansion

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I think Oblivion is way easier to get into. Morrowind is too unique a setting for someone to just pick up and play. You need to get told/

8 years ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 1

*discover/

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

You needed to keep up with Kirkbride's writing in Morrowind, which not everyone could. Oblivion was definitely an easier entry, but emptier.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

Strongly disagree. I played Morrowind and instantly found stuff to do. Oblivion had me bored in the first 20 minutes.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

/what a Silt Strider is, but everyone knows what a Goblin is. And Morrowind is so old that it's a bit hostile to learn the UI.

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 1

The game world is also oddly devoid of life, which is just a product of it's age, a modern reskin would suit it very well, I think

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 0

I had to do a ton of reading on the UESP to get the hang of the stat mechanics and how to properly level. after that hurdle, the game's easy

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Problem is that leveling system, if it didn't punish you for not leveling the 'right' way, you would have a much better experience.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Took me many failed characters and giving up repeatedly before I finally got the hang of it

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

I went through that with Skyrim at first. Never did get past that stage with Morrowind.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Oblivion had Quest markers

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 3

yeah, but despite the unfortunate addition of quest markers Oblivion had some good ideas.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 0

Quest markers are for the weak. I want to spend hours sifting through in game clues then bust out my color morrow in map that came with...

8 years ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 3

It frustrates a lot of people but half the fun of Morrowind was figuring out where to go with road signs, dialogue, and journal entries.

8 years ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 1

Not sure if you're being sarcastic, but that's what I want to do in an open world. Not be told to go to this secret place that is clearly >>

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

>> marked on every map in game.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Yeah I want to actually explore! Finding a hidden cave with a wizard excavating a powerful weapon was awesome because I found it.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

The game didn't tell me to go there. But because I happen to be walking in a specific direction I was able to see the ruin and check it out.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

The game and plot my course to where I think I'm supposed to be.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

A true adventurer once told me, "It's not a matter of knowing where you go, it's about the journey there."
