You're not wrong, and it's important to keep that in mind, but the laughing stock narrative is important. Trump feeds off of being labeled as dangerous. It means people are taking him seriously. What he can't stand is being made fun of. The only reason his crowd sizes are talking point is because he hates it. The more it's talked about, the more unhinged he gets. So yes, he is dangerous. But it's important to point out he's also a laughing stock.
