This is not just a distraction from the Epstein files, this is actually a lot more important than the Epstein files, because this could start WW3. China and Russia are close allies of Iran and both have warships in the straits of Hormuz right now. This could really easily become a world-ending conflict. There will likely be nearly unanimous support for this among US politicians, including Democrats.

Please do not fall for propaganda. The US and Israel failed to install their preferred dictator (Reza Pahlavi) by fomenting a coup so now they're trying this. The goal is to gain control of their oil. There is no way this ends well for anyone in Iran. At a minimum an invasion of Iran will kill millions of people, mostly civilians.

It is conceivable that they will try to use a black flag attack to manufacture consent, but if this happens you can see the evidence right here that the US and Israel already planned this war in advance.

Didn't someone repeatedly warn us that the president would start a war in Iran if his approval ratings went in the toilet?...

So we have these perfectly amazing alternative like solar, wind, and hydro, that we can source locally, but no no, let's go to eat over and over again over dead dinosaur goo. You've got to love the fiscal responsibility and forward thinking here. /s

Pictured here is Southcom, currently operating in the Caribbean. The military hardware Trumpler sent towards Iran is twice as large.

If you keep an eye on ADS-B Exchange, there's also a steady stream of C-17's and the occasional C-5 Galaxy going back and forth between Ramstein AFB and going dark over the Greek islands. There's definitely equipment being moved.

So he's sending soldiers back off to war? Does that diminish the numbers should something happen at home? Asking for an angry mob.

No new wars, America first. What a joke.

If WW3 is gonna start can it wait until I'm at work, as it's going to be one of the first strike locations.

Going to war should be a special situation allowing another election. Let the people have a say and avoid war. Bc trump was elected on the promise of no wars.

I keep saying this: We need to stop saying everything is just a distraction from the Epstein Files. Otherwise, in a few years from now, there's going to be millions of Americans sitting in concentration camps going "Wow, the Epstein Files sure must be serious for them to cancel all elections, burn the Constitution, and throw us all here for voting for Harris."

It's just normal global powerplay, reduce chinese access to iran's oil and soforth. Many reasons to play.

Israel was threatening to nuke Iran of the US wasn't going to bomb it.

Dem leadership dont want to vote on this so they're hoping Trump does this without their consent.

Everything the US is doing isnt because of Trump, it's everything they've BEEN wanting to do for years and are using Trump to do it because YOLO in an attempt to grab anything on the way down.

Venezuela, Iran, Cuba, Taiwan, Greenland.

The only one not being touched is DPRK because of it's nuclear deterrence investment.

This fucking shit needs to be more widely known. The protests, apparently a follow-up of the first wave of protests a couple of years back, are suddenly sporting the Shah's flags. All signs point to a color revolution, especially when Reza is aligned with Israel and the US.
Stop looking at US internal micropolitics for a bit and watch your country's movements abroad, this shit is getting *very* dangerous. Even Democrat Zionist hawks are fine with this shit. I do hope China makes a blockade.

The UK needs to ensure airbases on UK soil are not used as staging posts for any action against Iran.

ICE has more money than the entire russian military.
The Marines have more funding than the entire Russian military.

China doesn't want to stop us because if we do things like this, it's far more likely they will get away with doing the same or worse to Taiwan.

The people of Iran may not be fans of the current ruling regime, but that doesn't mean they want an Israeli puppet dictator installed with US help. The US, unfortunately, regards every dispute in the world as an opportunity to get their people put into power. And sometimes if there isnt a dispute, they'll help create one as pretext

Calm down with the fear mongering. WWIII hasn't been kicked off by all the conflicts that happened up until now and I doubt this will be the reason why it does. Russia is stuck in Ukraine and can't afford another war. China has nothing to gain in outright conflict with the US and it's more likely the US will continue to weaken and isolate itself both domestically and internationally. Is this a total shit show? Yes. Will it cause the end of the world? Likely no.

1 month ago | Likes 23 Dislikes 10

This might not be it, but there's an increasingly realistic possibility something Trump or someone in his administration says or does will be the Franz Ferdinand moment that snowballs into WW3, and WW3 will end with nukes flying, and that will basically cause a mass extinction event on our planet.

1 month ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 2

There is absolutely no way that neither China nor Rusia will do anything more than a strong worded letter.

No one gives a fuck about Iran, and China in particular couldn't be happier than letting the US start another neverending war.

1 month ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

@OP It's not for Israel, it's because Trump is loosing support with conservative voters.

1 month ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 4

It's always for Israel. Netanyahu has been walking around with a massive boner ever since the build-up, when Trump sent roughly 12 percent of its naval capacity to the Arabian Sea. Unless you're going to claim here and now that 65% of the US Congress hasn't received funding from AIPAC.

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 2

It is 100% definitely for Israel. I'm sure he'll use it for propaganda with them too, but this would not be happening if Netanyahu (and others) weren't aggressively pushing for it to happen.

And you said lefties were crazy when we said he'd start WW3

1 month ago | Likes 181 Dislikes 6

1 month ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Claiming this will start WW3 is nonsense. China and Russia have no formal defensive alliances with Iran and certainly won't go to war over it. I'd be in favour of strikes in the Iranian regime to help the people but I certainly wouldn't trust Trump to do the right thing.

It's crazy to think that Russia or China will go to war over Iran. Protest? Yes. War? Hell no.

1 month ago | Likes 13 Dislikes 2

Ya Russia is basically tapped out cause of Ukraine. And China just doesn’t care. They’ll use the distraction to take Taiwan or something

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

They won't go to war for Iran. They'll use it as an excuse to invade Poland and Taiwan. The end result is still the same: Trump kickstarted WW3 and billions will die from or after the nuclear war.

1 month ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 4

You...you really think Russia would be insane enough to start another front and against Poland of all fucking places? Really? Poland, one of the strongest military forces in Europe who have been preparing for just such an occasions since Crimea was annexed? That Poland? The Poland that would absolutely trigger Article 5? That Poland?

Please.

1 month ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

yes yes sure thing grandma, now let’s get you to bed

1 month ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 2

HAHAHAH! Poland? You think today's Russia can invade fucking POLAND? You're either terribly misinformed or outright delusional. If Poland were to decide to invade Russia - even completely alone - they'd be laying siege to Moscow within a month. Russia's conventional military is spend.

1 month ago | Likes 18 Dislikes 2

Poland spends ~4.1% of it's annual GDP on defense, which is technically a higher percentage than the US at ~3.4%. Obviously, their GDP is much smaller, but they're no slouch when it comes to military spending. So yeah, considering how militarized Poland is, and how much trouble Russia had against Ukraine, Poland will walk all over them. Especially with a fresh Poland and an exhausted Russia that still has a ton of soldiers tied down in Ukraine.

1 month ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

For what it's worth, this is more likely to be a massive bombing campaign, since we haven't heard reports of ground weaponry being shipped over

1 month ago | Likes 96 Dislikes 7

A.) is that supposed to be better? B.) it might start that way, but it absolutely will not end that way. If they actually want to control Iran in any kind of meaningful way ground operations will be 100% necessary. Iran is a huge country with lots of places to hide and plan insurgency. Think about how tough it was for the USA to hold Iraq, and then remember there are nearly twice as many people in Iran. And unlike Iraq, they have many powerful allies, so this could easily become a global war.

1 month ago | Likes 36 Dislikes 14

A. There could be much worse situations but your A. reply is very passive aggressive to someone just saying their thoughts out loud.

B. Okay? They bombed the nuclear site’s last year and did they ground invade afterwards? No.

Honestly it’s a distraction from all the bad news and polls Trump is reaping for being the idiot in Chief that he is today.

1 month ago | Likes 22 Dislikes 4

Why wouldn't you move your ground forces along with air forces? Why wait for resistance to form after your airstrikes? Doesn't make sense.

1 month ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 4

I think they probably will start with a combined air/ground assault for that exact reason, but I think the person I was responding to was perhaps expecting something similar to past US/Israeli attacks on Iran, which have primarily been limited airstrikes on specific targets with the goal of getting the Iranian government to just surrender. I don't think that's what's going to happen this time though, because they already tried that and it didn't succeed.

1 month ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 3

Because those in charge currently are brain-dead goons, who think they know better than the generals who "advise" them.

1 month ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

On the other hand, It's not like those ordering this are competent or thinks ahead. So, it would totally be believable that Trump believes that another surgical strike that kills the head of state just fixed the problems in the country and they'll be happy and liberated like Venezuelans (/s, just in case). I'm sure some of the generals there tried to bring up a point that they also needs to stabilize the country, after. But that sounds like expensive, and problem for later, so Trump's ignoring it.

1 month ago | Likes 11 Dislikes 2

I could see that, but I think they're moving too much ordinance over there for this to just be a bombing run. From everything I have seen they seem to be preparing for a real full-throated invasion.

1 month ago | Likes 7 Dislikes 0

Meh it won’t be ww3. People been saying that for years

1 month ago | Likes 6 Dislikes 3

"People have been saying that for a long time so it won't happen" is the single most daft take there is here. Legitimately, absolute peak daft. What people have been saying or how long they've been saying it means ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. The facts of the situation do. If you can't process the details of the current situation, stay silent, but basing predictions of the future on what others have been saying is a truly shocking level of daft. Like, "gambling partnerships will help the news" daft.

1 month ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Everything you’ve said is exactly what everyone says in this situation. Ignorant fearmongering.
The only reason for this huge military movement is to distract from presidential scandal. This has happened countless times.

Don’t reply now. Bookmark this and reply back in 6 months when you were wrong and the world isn’t at war if this matter

1 month ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

Everyone seems to be making assumptions like they have experience being a military general, based on less than half the full picture.

If this gets as bad as people fear, there is absolutely nothing we can do about it. Keep focus on the files and don't let people get distracted.

1 month ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

It won't necessarily be, but it's way closer than we've come in years. China really can't afford to let Iran fall to Western Powers. This is a moment of push coming to shove, and I think people should be aware that global war and nuclear war are both potentially on the table if a US invasion takes place.

1 month ago | Likes 5 Dislikes 2

Meh, same shit different situation.

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

What can China actually do about it, though? They don't have many options for coming to the aid of Iran. They lack the ability to project meaningful force via their navy, and that's before you factor in the need to fight through the USN for their ships to reach Iran. They don't share a land border, so any troop movements would require securing permission from Afghanistan or Pakistan (both not too likely to want to be party to a war against the US) or overland through Russian and then across

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

The Caspian sea, which is a much longer route, which in turn puts some fairly sharp limits on the amount of force they can project (and once again assumes Russia is willing to be party to a shooting war w/the USA). So the other military option for China is that they use a war w/Iran as a pretext for an invasion of Taiwan... which runs a high risk of starting a WW3 that *at best* (for China) ends in a pyrric victory, and more likely ends in a white peace.

1 month ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

While the ground portion of the Gulf War was preceeded by a month of airstrikes, the buildup of ground forced began six months before that. I don't think it's very likely that the US is planning on an invasion, I'd bet they're convinced an intense air campaign alongside commando raids and uprising by the US-supported rebels groups will do the trick.

Re: occupation of Iraq: The US was never at risk of military defeat by the insurgency, nor did the insurgency seek to militarily defeat the 1/

2/ occupation forces or even the (new) Iraqi government. They lacked the means to do either of those things and they knew it, that's why they fought as an insurgency. Insurgencies seek victory by wearing away the will of their opponents (both political will to oppose them and social will to support the government) - the purpose of their violence isn't to produce tactical or strategic effects, instead its purpose is to send a message. Contrast this against a hybrid or guerrilla war, where

1 month ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

3/ the purpose of the guerrillas violence is ultimately to produce a military situation favourable to their return to open warfare (ex the Vietnam war or the communists in the Chinese Civil war). In an invasion of Iran you'd likely be looking at guerrillas aiming to affect a military defeat of the invasion, at least at first, though if they failed to achieve that then a transition to insurgency would probably occur - the cinsequence of which would be most of the violence being directed at
