I wear shorts most of the winter. Most people are soft.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I don't see the problem

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I’m from Clevo. There was a dude who wore shorts the entire year for a bet.

Probably having a cigarette and doesn't want his wife to know. Been there

Better than walking!

When I bite into a York peperment patty I get the sensation!

Top down, sliding around in a rwd car on ice/snow is some exhilarating stuff.

I live in canada, and wish it was that warm

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

hope they've got the heater on.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I get irrationally angry seeing convertibles with their tops up in nice weather. PUT YOUR TOP DOWN! YOU’RE WASTING YOUR CAR!!

8 years ago | Likes 8 Dislikes 3

Having done a new top on one of these at the dealer under warranty you better buy the guy who fixes your cracked top some beer.

if the heater works, it can be really fun... but mostly at slow speeds and no other traffic.

Some douche at my gym refuses to put his Harley away for the winter, everyday I see it parked by the front doors. Fucking assclown.

I was stuck on I71 for over an hour going to my last final that day.

There was a guy who did this in Detroit about 8 years ago all year round. Was on the morning radio show. Drove a Miata.

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

I think he did it for charity or publicity for a charitable cause, if I remember correctly?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I remember he got harassed so much after the radio talked about he posted a blog saying he was forced to put the top up 1st time in years.

Thats the "I bought this I am going to drive it" attitude.

More like "My wife said a convertable in a snow state was pointless, but ill show that bitch!"

I take the camaro in the New England snow just to piss of my boss that tried to talk me out of it. Can confirm.

More like, "I'm making payments and can't afford to fix my busted ass car"

Yeah, that's gotta be awful for the interior.

8 years ago | Likes 9 Dislikes 1

You have to drive faster than 40km/h (dunno what that's for imperials) in a Miata and nothing gets inside.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If you stay over ~60mph or so the wind deflects rain (and I assume snow) over the top, but looks like he's in traffic.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

~60mph in snow and ice :u?

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I'm from florida, it was rain for me :v

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

40 km/h. trust me, I drive one all year. I guess thats somewhere around 30+ish mph

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

I have owned 2 different miatas and been in rain with the top down in both. 40kmh is not nearly fast enough.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

It is in a NB and ND model. Maybe not tropical rain, but normal mediterrean light rain it is.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Maybe that's the difference. I live in Florida, and had an nb and now drive an nc.

Mx5s have thermonuclear cabin heaters, you can do this fairly comfortably. I would but mines is on semislicks and I'd die.

8 years ago | Likes 14 Dislikes 0

My 95 NA heater is pretty mediocre, maybe they got better for NBCD?

8 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 1

I've got an NB2, heater is fantastic. Have had the roof off down to about 0C and it's still comfortable provided you wear a hat.

When's the last time you bled the cooling system? Get the front on ramps and use one of those burper funnels.

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Hmm I've changed the coolant twice for two timing belts (don't ask) - it's only been bleed via gravity, however.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 1

Yeah you'll be chasing bubbles on the NA/NB system forever if you don't get the front up in the air.

8 years ago | Likes 2 Dislikes 0

Your cabin air filter and/or heater core are both good? I know my 93 na was very toasty in the winter.

8 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 0

I've changed the blower motor, but I don't think my car even has a cabin air filter?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 1

my bad, you're right. No wonder I don't remember changing that when finding the one in my NC (which did have it). Else hoses and thermostat?

8 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Thermostat was replaced, but I if I go downhill for 10 minutes or so in the hills my temperature gauge reads cold even though car is warm...
