My car came with an aftermarket alarm and no instructions.  It randomly goes off and disables my ignition.

I kept asking how to seek out and destroy the alarm system. All that I have is this little red light that blinks. Everyone says to follow the wires.

I kept asking "Don't I need to remove the dash?"
No, just 8-10 panels below it. I found a bundle of wires going under the steering column, which luckily didn't have any pesky screws holding it together. I followed them in the general direction of the glovebox, so I removed those panels and the glovebox, and found this dickfor and another key:

The thing on top looks like a security tag for a store. The key matches the one that came with the car, but looks unused, so hopefully it works better.
The one key that came with the car acts like a bad copy, but the car only has 105,000 miles.
It didn't come with a fob like Mom's 2006 Camry and my 2004 Camry, but someone totaled the 2004, so I still have the fob, and I found instructions to reprogram it.
I just need to track down this dickfor.
Do you think my car will start without it?!

Edit!
There is a label on the backside with a QR code that doesn't lead anywhere, but it also says "cox2m.com." Their site's Google description says "Cox 2M is a new Internet of Things (IoT) business line within Cox Communications that provides complete asset tracking and monitoring solutions."
One of the image results says "No more lost cars" and that page says "Know the exact location, status and health of every vehicle across your sites. Improve lot management with real-time vehicle monitoring. For auction houses. For dealerships. For vehicle fleets."
The auction house left this, the flipper didn't look for it, and the auction house still knows where my car is?
I think this is independent of the alarm. I should be fine cutting the cable, using the new key, and throwing away the dickfor.

It's probably a tracker installed by a shitty buy-here-pay-here dealer to make it easier to repo.

105,000 miles ≈ 169000 kilometres or 210 proclaimer walks

You'll probably have to disconnect the henway before you can remove it.
