I like pie! <--The only comment here for two yrs. This seems to be a thing now, so I will join the lemming herd on the bandwagon of fishing for fake internet points by giving a promise if a screenshot of this makes the frontpage. Should you blah, blah screenshot, blah blah frontpage, I promise to have a slice of pie, and make a toast in your honor (honour for our friends across the pond), which you won't care about anymore because you will have managed to just get something on the front page. --Zedd (no i am not dead) 8/20/14 (20/8/14)
That was the rare read while swiping . I had to return. Congratulations, you may not have won the internet, but you have won my gratitude. A true poet.
And some say that solo is still going on today.
My 5yo Little Brother started crying and was soooo freaked when we saw this at the theater. He watched the rest of the movie sitting on my dads lap.
So you are saying this should be called a corrugated brick wall? I agree with you, let it be so.
My friends and I call that “disgruntled Samaritans”
It’s sad you seem to think ICE is operating with intent to support the law. The purpose of their increased mandate is to normalize violence without due process. Just like “kill the drug dealers”. Due process isn’t “special treatment”.
My teenage years were split between MD and PA. I’ll take PA in the snow over MD any day.
It’s not talked about as much anymore, but the Protestant reformation was somewhat built around the idea that the Papacy is the “little horn” of Daniel 8.
“Papist” was basically a slur in early America, and that’s why Christmas didn’t take off until the ‘Twas the night before Christmas poem came out anchoring it to Santa Claus instead of the Catholics.
I just blurted out “NO!” When I saw the sewing machine. The rest of the people at the airport seemed startled.
I’m 52, I never realized it at all. Until I read your post. My whole world is a lie, and apparently I don’t know anything. Goodnight.
lol so true
Aaaaand you’re on a list now
I’m not saying your wrong, I’m just wondering. Did colonial era horses have issues because they let the horses eat in the wrong fields?
My neighbors had horses and from what I remember, they let them eat whatever they felt like if there was something to eat. Maybe I remember wrong.
Kick his ass Sea Bass!
Yeah it should have been obvious but I guess it’s not to some.
Sometimes some says something that crystallizes a thought you’ve had so well. It’s not that it’s really that profound just sooo accurate.
“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.” Matthew 7:21
That’s not a paraphrase that’s a complete misquote. You have proven my point. You want to justify lumping people you don’t like together. That’s all the no true Scotsman thing is all about, justifying bigotry.
Does taking a label make it true?
The guy everyone calls the Christ said his people are the ones that show love. So what makes someone a Christian? Taking the label or showing love?
There are evil people claiming to be what they aren’t everywhere. The no true Scotsman “fallacy” is horse dookey.
Of all the logical fallacies I’ve ever seen listed. The no true Scotsman is the one that stands out as the most misused. There are people who aren’t true Scotsman. 100 million people calling themselves Scotsman doesn’t make it so if they aren’t Scotsman. This “fallacy” is most often used to justify personal bigotry.
Hey! Leave me out of this!
Let me guess, you’re Italian.
I’m driving the corn-on-the-cob, but I’m definitely getting into some shenanigans on the regular with whoever is driving the banana.
Not everyone could hear it. But living in a dorm those that could looked like dogs sniffing for food when we wanted to play videos games.
Wow. Congratulations, you won. Nothing important of course but you definitely won.
Wow, way to not read the comment in context.
Wow that was scrumtrulescent!
