The 95 designates 95% of test particles. Also water is a really small molecule when compared to things like viruses and bacteria.

Of course the gas dissipates and of course the exposed surface oxidizes. What’s your point?

7 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

My point was without a way to displace O2, oxidation occurs throughout the entire structure of a weld. The result is weak and brittle.

Corrode faster than what? Oxidation occurs on all exposed metal surfaces. Look up cold welding in space, it’s pretty interesting.

The IG in TIG and MIG stands for inert gas. In this form of welding, a gas is used to displace air/oxygen to prevent corrosion.

As an EIT that has been working for less than a year, I'm kind of annoyed that you think you're replacing a professional engineer with 30yrs

9 years ago | Likes 3 Dislikes 1

OP is a year out of school.. Make some logical conclusions. OP is at most an EIT. Not replacing a professional engineer. OP is full of shit

You're like a premed undergrad calling themselves a doctor. Downvote!

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

An undergraduate degree in engineering doesn't make you an engineer. You're entry level. You can't sign off on documents.

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 2

Dude. You don't know anything. So don't worry about it. They will train you. You're not a replacement. And you're not even an engineer yet.

You're not the replacement

9 years ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

If you just graduated and have no experience than they have no expectation that you will be a replacement.

Senators make $174,000 annually. That's pretty damn good. How much do you suggest? What net worth are you shooting for? That's ridiculous

9 years ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 3

That is very insightful.

Making less money doesn't add credibility to their support. Senators make $174,000 dollars annually.

The debris on the lights are simply them pulling dead leaves off the plants and such. It's easier than dragging around a trash bag
