I believe the Insurance only covers a certain amount of money/costs
They had insurance it doesn't cover it all.
the surgery is going to cost them 10k all in all they already covered half
They didn't shut it down they have merged it with EA motive, so at least the Bioware employees still have their jobs just under a new leader
