I think my wife has one of these in her nightstand.
A lot of PPD cases have to do with chemical/hormonal changes that occur following birth, so sometimes all the social support brought to bear on PPD won’t be a sufficient preventative measure.
One of my daughter’s dance teachers committed suicide literally days after giving birth to twins earlier this year. PPD is not a joke or a ploy or anything like that, and if you think it is tell it to a spouse or family member of someone who took their own life and/or their child’s life because of PPD.
Not excusing narcissistic behaviors, but they’re not always done with malicious intent. Some narcissists are completely oblivious to the fact that they’re narcissists.
