Catan's great to start, but there are a lot of board games that do similar better.
If you like Village try My Village. Different, but feels thematically similar. Very fun.
Caylus, Feast for Odin, Caverna, The Oracle of Delphi, Ys, Bora Bora, Rattus, Chaos in the Old World, Secret Hitler, Milestones, Carcassonne
Nah, it's good. Kingdoms and Galaxies is too. Tiny Epic Defenders is the only one I didn't love.
It's heavier than it looks, but once you get it down it's pretty good.

Cut that four ways (most games play up to 4 at least) and it's way cheaper than a night at the bar. Also cheaper than many movie theatres.
But I should also say, mad props. I love board games and any attempt to spread the love is great. Kudos!
