Necessarily well written. Basically the "big mac and fries" approach. There is nothing wrong with that of course! His success shows this2/3
Sanderson seems to follow a similar ideology to king. He creates a wealth of middling quality books, that are consistent, but not (1/3)

I'm sorry but Sanderson is a mediocre author at best, he could never stand to the father of modern fantasy, nor the likes of many others.
Better than Tolkien? Sir, I would not argue your right to proclaim Sanderson better than some contemporaries. BUT TOLKIEN???

A small portion of the community who reads not only for entertainment but also work.
Undervalues the work of other authors with more talent and more to offer fantasy as a genre. I do understand that my views represent (3/4)
I'm certain he will continue to improve with time, and happy he has such a supportive fan base. However, to say he's one of the greats (2/?)
Sanderson is a very prolific author, but he has a long way to go. I personally think he's overrated, but I respect his commitment. (1/?)
