Quiet, piggy.

Pretty sure Trump is causing a boom in non-US arms acquisition by countries that used to think of themselves as allies.

I'm not sure why, but this reminds me of The Matrix.

Pretty sure Copernicus was an astronomer.

#1 It looks like someone has stolen @walpurrga 's bra. I hope she is able to get it back ok.

Yes. Cows are far more deadly. You really need to keep your wits about you with them.

Yes, I believe you can take me down. To funkytown.

Feynman is fixing things by thinking. As usual.

"…that can be made, in a very narrow field."

Thank you kind stranger.

Thanks mate. You too. SA must be pretty toasty today I'm guessing. It's very windy here now, which is never a good thing with fires around.

2 months ago | Likes 1 Dislikes 0

Sounds like you & your folks are really well prepared. Hope you won't need to use your fire plan and that your house survives ok. Ruffy is gone from what I'm reading and Merton is threatened. Serious stuff.

Haha, yeah, north east Victoria, Australia. Can't imagine Victoria BC gets a lot of bushfires in January.

2 months ago | Likes 4 Dislikes 0

Yes, that's north east of me, burning through beautiful national and state parks near the Murray. There's an historic trestle bridge under threat near Koetong that I hope is saved. I'm closer to the Longwood fires which are burning through the Strathbogie Ranges. All this and it's only January. February is usually worse here. Good luck in the West, mate!

Unsure if here for Christmas or to blow up a Russian sub.

Merry Christmas brother! Hope it's a good one for you.

We may have to look to the Kiwis and Aussies for early selfies. It's just rolled over to the 25th on the east coast of Oz.

And often deeply disappointing.

Yes, people have been talking it up for at least three decades that I know of, but, according to the link posted by @Higure, the Chinese got one running earlier this year. That story is much more factual than the clickbait-y stuff above.

I would want to spend the northern winter in the southern hemisphere summer. If I could afford such things, which I can't. It would be a winter residence relative to Canada though, eh.

I love Canada, but I would need a summer residence as well.

He doesn't only play 5 strings, but his G tuning, G-D-G-B-D, is always 5 string.
