Regarding spoilers: Yes... there are undead in the walking dead. Sadly no Bruce but hey otherwise the undead would be boomsticked after S1.

Not speaking from experience (I mean I don't have a kid and we don't have those here) but try alcohol wipes, it should at least help a bit.
