Man, I’d probably never come back from my PTO if my boss spoke to me like that. Makes me realize how privileged I am to work with a forward-thinking team that prioritizes self-care and mental health days. Capitalism FTW baby, we all out here sinking in this ship
Yeah so much of this kind of thing isn’t the fault of the driver/employee, it’s the shit company they work for that is causing their staff to work through extreme levels of stress. High stress = accidents aplenty

Sometimes I have to be away overnight for work, would they be okay by themselves for a day or would I need a rat-sitter? Well that’s a huge part of the issue, unfortunately. It makes it real difficult for the rest of the (rational) population to “burn the police dep’t to the ground” or attempt to change the system when we’re under constant threat of those same weapons being used on us
