American birthing rules are stupid and make no sense. I was eating and drinking coffee before giving birth and guess what, healthy baby.
C section recovery is literally hell and takes forever. I didn't feel sexy for months. So yes a lot more than 6 weeks.
My baby is 2 months old and I told my parents to hold off....no way I'd risk his health like that. Theyll get over it.
