On the other hand it does have a lot of mass/thermal capacity to heat up. But as you alluded to that heat is not dissipating into the air so at a certain point it will be keeping the cpu warm.
I have made gliders out of wood and they are much heavier than an owl. Holding an owl is like holding air.

Most people I know would call me calm, quiet, and collected. I can be a little outgoing sometimes. I am not thirsting after every woman I see. This is me. I take care of myself and try to get out, but women just are not interested, assuming I can even find them. All my close friends have significant others or married. They don't know how to help. I have spent tens of thousands trying to change my situation. I missed the chances I had in high school and college. Thinking about dating makes me depressed.
