There's a lot of improvising in veterinary because sometimes the stuff we need isn't made. Or if it is, it isn't practical. Or if it is, it's unaffordable. Even in super well-equipped tertiary referral centers I've worked in I've seen some brilliant improvisation from some of the best doctors in the world. IIWIW.

You see how if there is a credible person saying that they saw something terrible IN PERSON is a different starting point from pgdave saying i saw two random online handles on imgur eating people, right? Because the questions your asking are the core of our legal system that we all learn about in middle school civics class. Just wanted to give you the benefit of the doubt that maybe these things are (literally) foreign to you.
Point of note: that's the police and not ice arresting her. ICE have VERY FEW agents and are relying on local police for support. Until the local enforcement starts protecting the people they are just as bad. Fuck both them and ICE.
