This. I've worked with the same union three times and they've hindered progress at all three companies. Also an absolute pain to work with.

Now I'm just sitting here waiting to gain the responsibily of 3 or 4 people with no additional pay or support.
Also in engineering, also being sent those emails, also know of people refusing to comply. I don't understand it at all.

Who down voted this... Clogged dryer exhausts CAN and DO cause house fires. In fact, they cause nearly 3,000 fires a year in the US.
The company just hires a "benefits group" so they can tell us to shut up and enjoy the extra benefits they so generously provide.
Amen. We constantly get annoyed by offers for discounts on mortgages, new cars, pet insurance, etc. but we can't afford those things anyway.
The company isn't paying for those utilities, doesn't pay rent or maintenance on a building, and wants to pay me less.
If anything, we ought to be paid more for WFH. I have to use my own A/C, water, power, internet, etc. Meanwhile...
There are varying degrees of unreasonable and student loans cover the spectrum. All student loans are unreasonable though.
Total, my estimated payoff is 160% of my principal. Yay America....
Feels bad man. I had two up near 12 (Sallie Mae is a dirty whore)

A moving fluid (or gas) creates a low pressure area according to Bernoulli's principle. This should cause the umbrella to flutter as shown
umbrella and being redirected back towards the guy. Similar principle to reverse thrust on a modern aircraft. 2/2
Everyone calm down, this *is* possible. The thrust isn't generated by air hitting the umbrella, it's from the air traveling along the 1/2
