As safety coordinator, this causes me great angst.
I wouldn't recommend it for more than riding the crane . Puts alot of stuff near the bird. And you don't want to accidentally collapse it.
It can be completely rebuilt. So as long as the side plates don't get worn, a long time I woild think.

I am going to demo a pair of HAIX in the next few weeks. I hear they are excellent once broken in.

The boots are asolo fugitive. Perfect for trimming also. I have not worn loggers in forever

We have a guy who weekly has been spinning the crane ball to tighten it for several months. One of these days we hope he figures it out

For the two line system? An anchor hitch with a half hitch backup over top.
