American voting, to me, feels designed so no one can vote. Australia had week long voting during COVID to make it so less people went on the one day. We liked it so much we kept it. You can vote up to I think a full week or 5 days before the final voting day. Places are open decent hours. We have postal votes as well. Election officials go to big retirement places so oldies vote. It's amazing. Democracy in action.
