Communist country is kind of an oxymoron so that is true. A communist country would either not be communist or a country, it cannot be both.
Cuba is not a communist society, it is mostly state capitalist with a few socialist elements.
Cuba is pretty far froma a communist country though. They have socialist elements, but most of the economy is state capitalist.
