Absolutely, whereas here we have one set of immigrants (from the UK) who voted for brexit because it meant immigrants from somewhere else wouldn't be allowed in a country they don't even live in any more.
As a Brit living in Europe, we got out before it all went to shit, but there's even expats here who voted for leave "coz of immigrants" their sheer stupidity baffles me.

Appreciate the sentiment but I don't live in the US, I just used to get remote work contracts from mainly American companies as there were a lot more on the market. The one this post was about gave me up to 50 hours a week at $15/h, which was was enough. Now the company has 3 workers doing my old job at $4.50/h
Look at financial reports for energy companies, most are listing the Israeli/Palestine war as a risk to their business, then you'll understand
