I have an 8a... had a 6a. I don't think there is any perfect phone, but the 8a has good specs and is reasonably priced. I usually skip a generation so will go for the 10a if one gets released. Wife uses OnePlus and is happy with their models, but they haven't had the price advantage for a while now.
Sometimes I can crack my back just by coughing.
Thing with the heatsink in the upper right of the first photo? Isn't that an M2 ssd?
That's absolutely disgusting and also exactly the way I like to eat it, especially when the pizza place makes their own ranch.
Get wrekt Wales!
The guy's shirt says lemang daun lerek, it's a place close to Gombak in KL area that uses daun lerek (packing leaf, phrynium pubinerve) rather than banana leaf. Somewhat different flavor and the central spine is supposed to stick out making it easy to extract from the bamboo tube.
This video caption is dumb. Bamboo rice (lemang or lamang in Malaysia) exists in several Southeast Asian countries and Malaysia doesn't claim it themselves. A better choice would be the obvious nasi lemak but there are many others that are local.
BLOOOOOT!
I very much enjoyed the octopus equivalent in the second book.
The fuck attic definitely needs to become a thing, a la the conversation pit or the open plan kitchen.
That is awesome. I used to live in a house that had been made into a side by side duplex. The air intake for the AC system was half on my side, half on their side, and this basically connected us for any conversations that took place in that hallway. I was there when the daughter had her first period, I was there when they were celebrating something with massive amounts of weed, they were there when I made wok jerk chicken (e.g. pepper sprayed the whole house) and any massive poo episodes.
Woah... Too soon... too soon.
At one point the storm had yet to make landfall in Florida and there were already multiple flooding emergencies announced in Georgia and the Carolinas. That was a big ass system.
Watched Mayfair Witches on Netflix. First episode borders on execrable. The others are better, but not really good. I never read the book so I don't know what source material quality they are working with. Ending was a bit of a whimper.
Fun thing is if you don't soak them the bales can catch on fire while the truck is driving down the road.
It's basically that float glide move all the kids do!
For that last one, does anyone (probably British) remember a BBC radio show that focused on the sounds of animals but anthropomorphized into a village? There was a gentleman going to work on his motorbike (toad or frog noise), a lady who didn't want to talk (the grey lourie bird whose call is "go away, go away"), and a number of other village folks.
It was an excellent series. There was an id/ego dichotomy as well between these parts. I also like that the key to octopus evolution in that context was basically longevity.
Indeed.
I played Championship Soccer with that before it was Pelé's Soccer.
This kills the cucumber.
#1 read "the worst journey in the world" by apsley cherry-gerrard. It's an account of this voyage to Antarctica 1910-1913 and has a whole spread of Ponting's amazing photography. Do not expect a happy ending to the tale (or a middle, things go wrong fairly early on).
Tootsie roll Voltron! Plus one.
Good luck with your search. Somewhat unfortunate award placement on mobile....
Hiking near Medan in Indo, mama orangutan drops out of the trees. Guide throws an onion, and the female orangutan scampers off after it. Guide says "bad idea to feed orangutan, fucking bad idea to not feed orangutan."
Went to Istanbul and endured the entire routine because my kids were wetting themselves laughing.
I get emails from one time zone and send them to folks in another time zone
Thanks so much for explaining that to my friend.
Took me on a journey to a place I want to be. Well done. For pans I rotate from a stone to cast iron to a Lloyd pan. I like them all. One fun attempt on the stone I hadn't used enough semolina and it wouldn't come off the peel. I had to roll it off. Calzone!
Practical effects are usually the best effects... it looks like it takes a lot of skill and reminds me of wuxia movies. Very elegant! Too bad they didn't use choreography at this level in the movies or the TV series. There could have been a neat visual differentiation like the Jedi do katas and the sith use berserker power moves.
