Is a 25% 'loss' of wage thought to be a lot? I'm fine with it because I have virtually zero medical costs to consider!
My taxes are 7.8%, my work pension scheme is 7.1%, my student loan repayments are 2%. Plus the national insurance, all deductions are 25%.
This is crazy to me. In the UK, my national insurance (healthcare, welfare, state pension) is 7.7% of my wage (I earn ~£22.5K a year)

I think it's a caddisfly. They make a protective case from stuff they find around them. An artist once put them in with tiny jewels and gold
Kinda. It's 'needle felting', and these are made with a polystyrene egg and sheep's wool. But yes, any fine fibre would work, I think.
