It's never REALLY been about nations, ethnicities, religions, sexualities, or even politics. They just want an in-group that they can exclude people from so they can feel superior.
I forget most of my dreams, but I always remember this one recurring dream I have where my glasses come to life and try to fuse themselves with my face. Which sounds horrifying, but when I'm actually having the dream, I'm mostly just annoyed at the inconvenience.
