The truck entered the track 1 minute before the accident. The real issue here is that 70 mph is the approved speed through a grade crossing in a municipal area across a major highway. Failures all around. Truck should’ve planned better but getting stuck at the exact moment a train is coming is just kinda shit luck. Meanwhile, if the train was going even half that speed through a town the engineers likely would’ve lived.

It’s a green screen. The entire background is edited in. The only thing not in green are his pants and his head and torso. He’s wearing green pants himself. Pants are an apparatus. So he’s squatting besides the pants but his legs are hidden by the green screen effect. Then he just stands up and presses the pants against himself.
