I think you did a great job! Love the cherry color and it has a great "lived in" feel to it. Using modern tools is wonderful but can deprive the work of character and you have a great balance of both!
I love it! There are novelty bulbs that imitate a flickering flame and I would love to make some proper lamp versions

The idea was to make it look heavily used and antique. Dirt, soot, oil, ect tends to accumulate around the edges of items. Hope that makes sense!
