As an architect I face this response from a lot of clients. My response is - if I offered to build your house to secure the design work, would you let me? It’s not my skill set, but I’ll give it a go. No?
So why would you let the builder design your home? Is it not the tail wagging dog?

Happened in Norway. Crypto investment firm (or similar) built a hydro dam to mine btc. About 10/15% is used for that, rest goes to Norway.
