Glad I can get a "local's" approval. Never had Detroit style before.
Let's not fight over pizza, I'll share, even though it is a pizza worthy of battle.
It's certainly not a special occasion pizza. But it tastes exactly how you want it to. Very satisfying.
It was a thicker than normal crust with a perfect amount of sauce. The slice size would normally bother me too, but not this time.

On this type of pizza, the canned mushrooms are ok. On a Neapolitan style pizza, gotta be fresh.
Ya gonna go check out the sand bar?
Might as well bring out the tables, ladders, and chairs.
