Why are you reading my profile and not browsing the memes? Seriously gtfo. Cheers!
Is there some reason you're ignoring my statements? You want to pick fights find someone else.
Not sure I follow you. But that doesn't matter. I'm not looking for debate just clarity.
I wish everyone had left everyone alone personally. The larger issues that lead to social unrest are not improving either.
I don't claim to understand or approve/disapprove.
You can have meaningful discourse some times but you have to approach it with a 'I don't know' approach. After that it gets better.
Well personally I'm not trying to attract honey bees to my junk. Call me crazy.
Eh...I mean I have done a full case by case comparison but I've been on Imgur awhile now and under oath would testify there is a bias here.
Think it varies state to state but in Rittenhouse this was how it was explained.
Just quoting the law in this instance, not taking a side. If someone grabs another's gun they themselves are now considered armed.
And the constant making of martyrs out of whomever is convenient. We need to have healthy discourse not more virtue signaling to tribes.
Well I guess f that bowl.
Pretty sure I saw a braid tugged. No arms crossed under bosom. Not a single knuckling of mustaches. I mean is it even WoT?
That's cool. Definitely not trying to change anyone's mind here. Just an old fan of the series venting.
Jordan admitted he wanted to write a fantasy epic in the same vein as Tolkien. JRR was so genre defining its hard not to have parallels.
Just my opinion but inserting modern day political ideals into fantasy written long ago to appeal to younger viewers is a key reason.
I think I understand the need for differences jumping between mediums book/film. I just think many of these changes were poor decisions.
Buckle up my friend. If they follow the trends from this show LotR will be unrecognizable.
Ep 1 48-49:00 again talking to the four before leaving 'One of you is the Dragon.' Implied again. I'm just not a fan. My opinion.
Ep 2 12:20
Around the 12:20 mark.
Moraine literally states it in episode 2 when talking to the four youngsters. "Forget what you've heard of the Dragon for he or she will be"
Not saying they can't. Only stating i didn't. Let people dislike things.
Literally breaking fundamental canon by saying the Dragon being a female goes against the whole prophecy core to the story.
SPOILER - Perrin being married and killing his wife didn't trip any alarms for you? The Dragon possibly being Egwene? I mean...
I tapped out midway episode 3. So much promise and money wasted.
It's the worst book adaptation I've ever seen. Awful doesn't begin to describe how far off the mark it is.
Literally could not be anymore disappointed than I am now after watching the first 3 episodes.
