As a society(US) we need paternity/maternity leave.
Impossible.. it's just, there are not a lot of jobs in the US that are gonna be cool with you taking a 30 minute break every 3 hrs.
To pump every 3 hours. There is no way around that. And to sufficiently feed a newborn, you feed every 3 hrs for 3 months. It is impossi 5

Effectively replicate a suckling baby. Which means they don't empty your breasts like a baby would. Because of this, they don't empty them 3
Even just being separated from your baby reduces your milk flow. Breast pumps, while great (bc there are no better options) do NOT 2
In January I had a premie. There was no option for me to breastfeed and I had to pump solely. Here are some things I learned from this. 1
