It goes to the back of your sinuses above and behind the uvula, limited gag reflex in that area, but there is still a ton of discomfort.

Manganese but yeah you're correct. Iodine will just make a poisonous cloud that doesn't burn nearly hot enough to melt an engine.
Change that to Manganese powder and you'll be golden. Magnesium will burn crazy bright and fast resulting in an explosion instead of a burn.
This is wrong on so many levels. You use Iron Oxide and aluminum powder. Not Iodine.
If you wanted to poison them too, yes.
