Sorry to downvote you, looks like you put real effort into this. Cool computers, my first computer was a 486@133mhz with a turbo button. But we are protesting, can't have content for a while it might drive traffic.

Then protest with us because they are trying to ruin imgur. Suck it up and live with it for a while and maybe imgur comes back, without the protest it is definitely gone. Maybe even consider helping.

How does giving them what they want amount to a protest? Any protest must violate rules, social, TOS, or law. Then when the system shown to handle that inadequately the rules must change. If everyone posts thegif.gif they clearly can't ban us all. If the rules on lewdness kept advertisers happy than ride that line like huge cock and make ads next to titties unacceptable. Post blandness violating social rules to attack the very spirit of sharing because it can't coexist with medialab.

Your numbers are bad, your spelling is bad (no "u"). Try pulling numbers for family members shooting each other by accident, mass shootings, intentional suicides, or the Myriad other problems that are solely US problems because of our idiotic view on guns. You're believing talking points that are designed to create a more dangerous environments to allow for police to be more heavily armed. Anybody show up with guns should be an exception, but here it's the norm.

I think democracy has been dead in this country for a long time. Since before I was born we've had the highest rate of incarceration, legal slavery, bad health care, functional wage slavery, low social Mobility, and during my lifetime it has become clear to everyone that we have two different sets of rules one for the capitalists to play by and one for the consumers to play by. And since citizens united it should be clear to everyone that the government feels this way too.

Then why aren't we rioting in the streets, why aren't there random shots being taken at ICE officers during raids? Why aren't CEOs and politicians fearing for their lives? Where are the guillotines? Anything less than actually stopping fascism enables it.

What sucks is, that the tech that makes nfts work could be used for some pretty cool stuff. Instead of actually trying to solve problem and find a customer for this idea of provability of ownership they wound up using it for grifts, scams, and copyright infringement.

I am curious about the mental gymnastics required to equate gun ownership with self-defense. Every bit of Research indicates they don't help. If someone wants to shoot you they'll just do it in a gun your pocket won't unshoot you. There's a very narrow set of circumstances where they help, and most people never experience those, but gun ownership does increase suicide, does result in guns being stolen by criminals, and does increase other crimes, which will impact most people.

I'm more meant that they're getting away with showing a penis. But now that dick butt is unbanned I guess we're allowed to do cartoon penises again.

There are millions of Americans who think that women can't lie or tell the truth because they simply aren't smart or capable enough to say anything of substance. To such deeply ingrained misogyny no amount of women's words can stand up to one man's. A lot of this comes from culture, a lot of this comes from religion, and a lot of this comes from existing power structures.

If you are still a Republican while trump leads that group you have willfully chosen the side of reprehensible evil and being set on fire is appropriate.

I know the Richter Scale of some kind of logarithmic scale, but I don't know exactly what it means. For example I know that decibels double every six so a sound that's 26 decibels is actually twice as powerful as a sound that's 20. Is the Richter Scale something like 10 times more for each point?

I don't think peaceful protest can fix the US, and I also don't think the government will let people have any guns that could be used in Revolution. For one example consider that as soon the Black Panthers organized and started gathering guns that shit got taken away. As long as the fashist supporters want guns they will be shouting "Second Amendment" as soon as someone darker than an onion has a gun they will be shouting "think of the children" or "Inner City crime". Because it already happened

So much of this street food has obvous risks involved, this looks safe, if unconventional.

Arguments about law abiding people versus criminals with regards to guns don't comport with reality because places with more strict gun laws have less gun crime. Gun laws simply increase the friction in getting guns and that means fewer people get hurt, every place except the US has figured this out.

I really don't understand all the zoo hate. Yeah they're not perfect but getting everyone running around and actual nature is a great way to fuck up nature.
