Obviously there are vocations where the demands far exceed the reimbursement, such as education and healthcare which should be fixed.
However I had the most fun and relaxed work environment in a minimum wage position. Not to mention the stressors were non existent.
Financially I might be better off now, but the demands of the job and responsibilities are on a completely different level.
Necessary yes, but usually not that demanding. My work experience ranges from retail, upkeep, fitness to management to C-level jobs.
I'd imagine there are multiple levels between thriving and suffering.
Might be a contrarian opinion, but are we supposed to thrive working minimum wage?
Oversimplification and broad strokes lead to polarization and echo chambers which are the biggest issues in our global society right now.
If one does not know the actual horrors that happened in the concentration camps and during the Nazi regime they're more likely to deny it.
We managed to make peace during those 5 years and ended up parting ways in a peaceful and loving environment. It really made a difference.
My father passed away this January after a 5 year struggle. Enjoy the good days and rejoice the moments of clarity.
Repeated impactful collisions however are real and have been shown to induce CTE.
