The one thing I learned from working on workstations was to "prepare the area" when someone comes to my house to work on something. If they're there to fix the dryer, I clear out the area around the dryer. They're gonna need to pull that thing out. Make room for that stuff.So many times I had to crawl under messy desks or reach behind to wrangle wires. Respect.
It wasn't DNS????
What are we talking? Physical machines at user's desks? Servers all in one place? VMs that need images mounted somewhere?
Ok yeah, that buckle gonna clamp and be the end of it. okay.
Right. And some people are literally responsible for hundreds of machines or servers. So glad it's not me today.
This is not that. This is "every computer needs to be fixed _MANUALLY_" territory. Holy hell this is bad.
