As an Aussie Canadian living in Vancouver, Canada, there is no way I’m crossing the border any time soon when I keep hearing stories like this. As much as I’d like to see friends across the border, it’s not worth the risk.

I gave birth at BC Womens hospital in 2022. It was free, except for the parking. And I got 12 month Mat Leave too, paid at minimum wage (~$600/wk).

As an Aussie Canadian, yes!

Ditto. Thankfully, the conservatives don’t have a foothold in our riding, but I know it is close in many others.

Speaking of artists, the burning structure in the meme is the 2019 Burning Man Temple: “The Temple of Direction” by Geordie Van Der Bosch.

To add to other comments, gluten and dairy are often common allergens these days, particularly with GMO foods

It’s not just America either, Canada and Australia have the same challenges. And these are big a small sample of the other chemicals that’s be problematic. Check your products at the EWG website, it’s a very handy resource

That’s probably why they chose a Blanic glider, they’re very stable, and used frequently for training new pilots

Hi there comrade in arms! I have a 19m old, and those first few months are haaaard. The hormone changes, having a tiny human dependent on you, who sleeps occasionally. Trying to feed yourself etc. It does get better! Find local mother groups, library story times when kiddo gets older, and yes please seek help, PPA/PPD is no joke.

I read about him being shanked, but didn’t realize that’s what he did to end up in prison. Irony will get you

I feel ya OP. I breastfed with a nipple shield (inverted nipples) for 3 months and pumped before he refused the nipple over the bottle. It’s so much harder than I thought, and not intuitive at all. But he’s thrived with pumped milk and the occasional formula bottle added in. You do what works for you. And if it doesn’t work, forgive yourself, PP is a rollercoaster.
