A very cynical Aussie, gamer who barely manages to put up with customers . at this point in life thanks to rona I am even more dead inside to the suffering of morons that can't see a the damn item on the shelves in front of their faces and still have to ask me where it fucking is. If this get to the front page you get nothing. (unless you like moobs )
R2D2 found the meth pipe and steroids
Nah, found them on Cults3d, I made a marauder II as well (same size as the timberwolf but it needs a lot of post printing work as the joints on it and the overall design sucked so it wouldn't support itself and the joints were dodgy AF.
also maintenance used to be done in house by the best available at each company, now they are flown to the cheapest place to maintain and repair
wouldn't last 5 minutes in Australia until they wind up in the nearest Cash Converters
yeah, this one is a trial run before I make one that will Fit my fat head. I made it for one of the kids who is always watching me play helldivers 2
it has support too, there is a to scale Locust and currently printing a Marauder II to go with it
that's on the list. I did this to break up my current Major printing project (building a Marauder II battlemech to match the Timberwolf pictured)
personal workspace in my house
the rotary cannon for an anti missile system yeah. I have a few different weapons I can attach it also had Gauss rifles but I swapped them out for the large and medium laser combo bringing it back to prime load out
Found it on Cults3d and scaled it up as large as I could go without having to glue things back together
1/8 scale. at full height and not sitting on its haunches like it is it is 1.2 metres tall
It's the anti missile systems rotary cannon
lol , German red/brown (aka hull red) does look a lot like chocolate
CGL has been rather quiet in there. we've all be posting some weird creations herbie the urbie (lovebug paintjob) tmnt paint jobs, Power ranger urbie paintjobs etc the guy making random mechs out of household appliances, they've even been ignoring my massive timberwolf. maybe they realised it isn't smart to act like Games workshop does to their playerbase lol
You can get rid of most layer lines via ironing or upping the quality (having smaller layers) but that increases the print time exponentially , most layer lines you can use a modeling paste to smooth over or a primer/filler undercoat, or incorporate them into the print design in some way
yes, all joints move, toes, ankles, knees, hips, torso twists, arms move and rotate, hands too
yeah, been posting on there too. eying off my next project while I paint this one up, Not sure If I do an Atlas, Huntsman, Hellbringer or I do a giant warhammer 40K space marine
yes, elementals are about 2 metres tall, 2.5metres when in their power armor(closer to 3 with the shoulder missile packs) Mech pilots are normally 175-182cm tall so they are quite a bit smaller, it'd be like having a 7ft tall person standing next to a 5 ft person
Cheers, it's been a PITA to make and some parts just didn't want to print at all so took a lot of attempts to get right
Don't need Armor if you are too far away to be hit
