I found this in the bin in the my Local Coin Shoppe at the time. It is supposed to be .999 silver. Most makers have a mark, but I could never find this particular silversmiths mark any where.
What kind of context? Sorry, didn't see this here all those years ago. post is still relevant, haven't found much and have scoured many a tome looking for this makers mark.
