Oh I'd be super curious to know in what way if you're willing to share? Struggled(struggling occasionally still) with thoughts like this and I got a different advice that works but I'm open to more tools

I mean, I'm not a vet, but where I am in Europe it's not a thing to get scammed by a vet so I can't even imagine that. I have however seen male cats that had this procedure and spoken to a vet that reassured me this is actually better and I trust them. Just out of curiosity, what are you basing this opinion on?
If you mean why would anyone want this method of neutering as opposed to simply removing the fuzz balls, as far as I understand it, it actually has the exact same effect (so no spraying) and it's healthier for them (less chance for cancers & kidney issues)

I recently learned that tomcats get neutered much like a vasectomy nowadays so they get to keep the cheese-puffs, but no spraying

Got long straight-hair too, touching my hair like that has become sort of a physical tick in a way cause it's itchy and annoying if it gets in your face. To me, it doesn't look like she consciously does that, but more habit (then again I'm not her so idk)
